The Center Point Pirates will challenge the D'Hanis Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Center Point is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 46 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Brackett on Friday. They were dealt a 41-3 defeat at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for D'Hanis' offense. They took a blow against Junction last Friday, falling 47-0. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1014th, while the Eagles are ranked 363rd).

Center Point's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for D'Hanis, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
