Liberty has gone a perfect 3-0 against Red Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. Liberty is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty challenged Boulder Creek last Friday. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jaguars 55-13. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight games by 31 points or more so far this season.

Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Pico, who threw for 101 yards and three TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing. Those three passing touchdowns gave Pico a new career-high. Brayden Stevens was another key signal caller, throwing for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Red Mountain had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Patriots. The Mountain Lions haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
A big part of Red Mountain's victory came down to the chemistry between Dominic Carmigiano and his top target King Robinson. Carmigiano threw for 180 yards and two TDs while Robinson picked up 67 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 60 yards.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Red Mountain proved: they limited ALA - Queen Creek to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Jameson Wade for the heroic effort on defense: he. Red Mountain's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.4.
Red Mountain's defense didn't let Cody Lalama, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Cole Edmonds with two. Edmonds is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Red Mountain got some further help from Wade: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 14 total tackles (2.5 for loss).
Liberty's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Red Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
