Halifax Academy will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Trinity Christian Academy, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Knights blew past the Eagles 43-11 on Tuesday.

Halifax Academy found their leader in sophomore Kaneisha Washington, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ki'Arah McMillian, who had ten points.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Old Plank Christian Academy and fell 57-17. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Calvary Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Halifax Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
