Lakeland Christian waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Fort Meade Miners as they made off with a 13-3 victory. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Miners, too.

Parker Kant was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Byrd, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Lakeland Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March.

Lakeland Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Fort Meade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Lakeland Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against McKeel Academy on the 10th. As for Fort Meade, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against George Jenkins on the 9th.
