Volleyball Recap: Chicago Vocational Comes Up Short

Chicago Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morgan Park Mustangs. If the Cavaliers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chicago Vocational started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-13, 25-2.

Chicago Vocational's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Morgan Park, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

As of now, neither Chicago Vocational nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
