Evanston lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Deerfield, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Wildkits breezed past the Warriors to the tune of 31-0 on Friday. The Wildkits' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

Evanston's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Deerfield, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evanston will take on Glenbrook North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildkits will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.88 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Deerfield, they will face off against Maine South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
