Pisgah has gone 9-1 against North Sand Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Pisgah will challenge North Sand Mountain at 4:30 p.m. The contest will give Pisgah their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Pisgah will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating North Jackson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Pisgah's pitchers stepped up to hand North Jackson a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

North Sand Mountain never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Valley Head last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

North Sand Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. Pisgah's record is now 10-7.

Everything went Pisgah's way against North Sand Mountain in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Pisgah made off with a 15-3 victory. Will Pisgah repeat their success, or does North Sand Mountain has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
