Baseball Recap: Hazel Park Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hazel Park's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Berkley Bears on Thursday.

Hazel Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Schlak, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Hazel Park has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Berkley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazel Park will host Lake Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Farmington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
