Soccer Recap: Rancho Christian Takes a Loss

Rancho Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Heritage Patriots, falling 6-2. The matchup was a close 3-2 at the break, but unfortunately for the Eagles it sure didn't stay that way.

Rancho Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 3-11-3.

Rancho Christian and Heritage could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Rancho Christian (ranked 1188th) will meet Hillcrest (ranked 529th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Heritage will challenge Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday down 620 places (1050 vs. 430).
