Softball Recap: Mingus Comes Up Short

Mingus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Flagstaff Eagles. The Marauders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Mingus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elora Bakhaus, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Bakhaus hit this season.

Mingus' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Flagstaff, their record is now 4-5-1.

While Mingus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
