Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus lost against Cherryvale on September 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

While Columbus ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cherryvale, their win bumped their record up to 3-15.

Columbus has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oswego on the 20th. As for Cherryvale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Caney Valley on the 20th.
