Soccer Game Preview: Camden vs. Central

The Camden Bulldogs will challenge the Central Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Lancaster who was credited with the victory on Monday. The Bruins got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Camden's two. The loss continues a trend for Camden in their meetings with Lancaster: they've now lost eight in a row.

On Tuesday, Central came up short against North Central and fell 4-2.

Alexis Hernandez and Felipe Pineda scored both of the Eagles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Camden came out on top in a nail-biter against Central in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
