Football Game Preview: North Duplin Rebels vs. West Columbus Vikings + How To Watch

The North Duplin Rebels will face off against the West Columbus Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Duplin's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so West Columbus' offense will have their work cut out for them.

While North Duplin's victory against East Bladen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels pulled ahead with a 15-14 photo finish over the Eagles on Friday. Those 15 points were actually the fewest the Rebels have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The critical scores for North Duplin came from Noa Quintanilla and Trashawn Ruffin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Columbus). They came out on top against East Columbus by a score of 30-18 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won six in a row.

North Duplin's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Columbus, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything came up roses for North Duplin against West Columbus when the teams last played back in August of 2017, as the team secured a 46-12 victory. In that game, the Rebels amassed a halftime lead of 20-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
