Basketball Recap: South Broward Skates Past Dillard with Ease

South Broward hadn't done well against Dillard recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The South Broward Bulldogs really took it to the Dillard Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-6 victory. The team ran away with 42 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

South Broward's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Neveah Jean Jacques, who posted 11 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Jean Jacques a new career-high in points. Ayonna Lewis was another key player, putting up eight points.

South Broward has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.8 points per game. As for Dillard, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
