Orange won the last time they faced La Quinta and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Orange Panthers' way against the La Quinta Aztecs as the Orange Panthers made off with a 20-1 win.

Mitchell Osorio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

At the plate, Daniel Vergara was a standout: he scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Gschwend-Son, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.

Orange's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for La Quinta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Orange will be taking part in a tournament against Whittier Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for La Quinta, they will square off against Bosco Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
