Locust Grove's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Catoosa Indians as they made off with a 13-7 win. Considering the Pirates have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Locust Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Catoosa, they dropped their record down to 11-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Locust Grove and Catoosa will both be playing Cushing the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Tigers on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
