Softball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wayne can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Logan Wildcats on Tuesday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Logan, they pushed their record up to 20-7 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Wayne by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
