Basketball Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short

Sayre lost against Hollis back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sayre Eagles lost to the Hollis Tigers on the road by a 60-46 margin. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Sayre's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Hollis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Sayre is facing Watonga at the right time seeing as Watonga is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hollis, they will challenge Cordell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
