Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Callie Melocheck and Kirra Klinger Lead Tri-Valley to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tri-Valley had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Ephrata Mennonite Legends 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Tri-Valley was led to victory by Kirra Klinger and Callie Melocheck. Klinger had 23 digs and four assists, while Melocheck hit 66.7% for five kills and 15 digs, eight aces, and one block. Melocheck is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Tri-Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 27-3.

As of now, neither they nor Ephrata Mennonite have any future games scheduled.
