Soccer Game Preview: Woodinville vs. Redmond

The Woodinville Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Redmond Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodinville will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Woodinville took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Issaquah, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Woodinville came out on top in a nail-biter against Issaquah on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for Woodinville as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Redmond's offense. They fell just short of Mercer Island by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Redmond have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodinville pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Redmond, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
