Trinity Academy won the last time they faced Cary Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers skirted past the Knights 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Trinity Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 16-25, 25-16, 25-20, 15-13.

Trinity Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Cary Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Trinity Academy will square off against rival St. David's at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cary Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Wake Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
