Baseball Recap: Foothill Extends Winning Streak to Five

Foothill put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Berkeley Yellowjackets. Considering the Falcons have won four games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Foothill got a great performance from Take Sato-Kreis as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Sato-Kreis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Foothill let Aiden Tavares and Landon Comerford run wild. Tavares scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Comerford scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Comerford has posted since back in March of 2024.

Foothill's record now sits at 5-0. As for Berkeley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Foothill will take on Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkeley, they will challenge San Leandro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
