Baseball Recap: Hudson Falls Comes Up Short

Hudson Falls couldn't beat Lansingburgh on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Tigers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-5. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

Daniel Carpenter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Hudson Falls' loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Lansingburgh, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-11.

As of now, neither Hudson Falls nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
