Softball Recap: Fennimore's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

It was a good run, but Fennimore unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 13-2 to the Mineral Point Pointers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Eagles have suffered since April 28th.

Fennimore's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Mineral Point, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fennimore is set to square off against their familiar foe Darlington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mineral Point will take on rival Iowa-Grant at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
