Recap: Bowie Bulldogs vs. High Point Eagles
The Bowie Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past High Point 81-50 at home. Bowie has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 31 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tremain Rowles, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowles has scored all season. Ashenafi Stuart was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why High Point lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ibrahim Turay. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadan Solomonraj, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Bowie's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for High Point, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Bowie will square off against John Champe at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for High Point, they will be playing at home against Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
