While No. 1 Mater Dei tries to navigate the nation's toughest postseason bracket, No. 2 IMG Academy finished its season 9-0 and riding a 36-game win streak. Should the Monarchs stumble along the playoff road, will IMG have enough to leapfrog into the No. 1 spot?

Duncanville (Texas) is the only new team in the Composite 25 as it prepares for the Texas UIL playoff gauntlet.

Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40 for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top 25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
