Mountlake Terrace is 9-1 against Shorewood since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Mountlake Terrace was outmatched by Edmonds-Woodway and fell 73-46. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Warriors are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, Shorewood made easy work of Lynnwood on Friday and carried off a 69-44 win.

Mountlake Terrace now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Shorewood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Everything came up roses for Mountlake Terrace against Shorewood in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-41 win. Will Mountlake Terrace repeat their success, or does Shorewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
