Baseball Game Preview: Karns Beavers vs. Powell Panthers

Karns hasn't had much luck against Powell recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Beavers will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Karns will be strutting in after a win while Powell will be coming in after a loss.

Karns took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Carter by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what the Beavers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Powell fell victim to Seymour and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0.

Karns is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Powell, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-21.
