Athens is 5-0 against Lindale since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Athens Hornets will take on the Lindale Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Athens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lindale likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Athens narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Van 56-54.

Meanwhile, Lindale came up short against Kemp on Friday and fell 69-57. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindale's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Athens, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Athens strolled past Lindale when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 58-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Athens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
