Volleyball Game Preview: University Christian Christians vs. Christ's Church Academy Eagles

University Christian hasn't had much luck against Christ's Church Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Christians will face off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

University Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Menendez by a score of 2-1.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Christ's Church Academy took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Episcopal School of Jacksonville.

Christ's Church Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-11.

Christ's Church Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for University Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

University Christian came up short against Christ's Church Academy when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Christians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
