Basketball Recap: Pisgah Takes a Loss

Pisgah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a blow against the Lake Hornets, falling 67-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-19 last Tuesday.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lake, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pisgah will venture away from home to take on Wesson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake, it'll be a Battle of the Bugs the Lake Hornets challenge the Union Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake is facing Union at the right time seeing as Union is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
