Basketball Recap: Plainfield East Comes Up Short

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 67-46 to the Romeoville Spartans. If the Bengals were looking for revenge after losing 49-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plainfield East now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Romeoville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainfield East and Bolingbrook will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Romeoville will take on Minooka in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
