Weiser proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 16) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Skyline Grizzlies 9-8. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Madi Janicek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
