On Monday, the Cox Falcons were able to grind out a solid victory over the Deep Creek Hornets, taking the game 60-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Deep Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamari Ricks, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 16 points. Bradley Barham was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win got Cox back to even at 4-4. As for Deep Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Cox has already played their next contest, a 50-38 victory against Hickory on the 7th. As for Deep Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 93-76 defeat against King's Fork on the 7th.
