Basketball Recap: Tabiona Gets the Win

After losing to Tintic the last time they met, Tabiona decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tabiona Tigers walked away with a 59-50 win over the Tintic Miners on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Tabiona had a senior duo take command as Gavin Rhoades dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds and Bryson Fabrizio went 7-for-17 en route to 18 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Rhoades has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Cayse Thomas was another key player, putting up six points.

Tabiona's record now sits at 18-5. As for Tintic, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

As of now, neither Tabiona nor Tintic have any future games scheduled.
