It was a good run, but Turpin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 60-49 to the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets. The Spartans were probably out for revenge after losing 70-50 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Archbishop McNicholas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Grant Waters out in front who went 7 for 16 en route to 18 points. Waters' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Charlie Clark, who posted ten points and four steals.

Turpin now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Archbishop McNicholas, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

When Turpin and Archbishop McNicholas next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Turpin will square off against Loveland and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Turpin will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Archbishop McNicholas will try to stop Bishop Fenwick's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
