Basketball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood lost against Montcalm back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Richwood Lumberjacks were dealt a 44-17 loss at the hands of the Montcalm Generals. The game marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Richwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Montcalm, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Richwood will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. Montcalm will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Twin Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th.
