St. Michael is 9-1 against Tara since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. St. Michael will square off against Tara at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

St. Michael's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Plaquemine 10-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four games in a row.

Meanwhile, Tara made easy work of Baker on Wednesday and carried off a 23-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won four in a row.

Tylynn Fleming was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dontrell Rochon, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Tara was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

St. Michael's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Tara, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Everything went St. Michael's way against Tara when the teams last played back in March of 2022, as St. Michael made off with a 22-0 victory. Will St. Michael repeat their success, or does Tara has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
