Baseball Recap: North Posey Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for North Posey, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Forest Park Rangers on Tuesday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

Colby Angel made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kade Buecher, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.

North Posey's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Forest Park, their record is now 7-7.
