Macie Irby made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Irby was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mayli Stockton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Hannah Winchester was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
