Basketball Recap: Mundelein Comes Up Short

Mundelein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 57-42 bruising from the Lake Forest Scouts. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Scouts earlier this season, when they won 32-31.

Mundelein's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Lake Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mundelein will welcome Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Forest, they and Benet Academy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
