Mason Sterling continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole G. Mathes, who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

Humboldt's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44.8 points. As for Council Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Humboldt has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 267.7 rushing yards per game.
