Highlands is a perfect 10-0 against Hayesville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Highlanders will host the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Highlands turned things around against Cherokee on Thursday. They blew past the Braves 4-1. Gabriela Diaz Martinez had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Highlands got from the refs.

Highlands hit Cherokee with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leticia Campos (2), Aislynn Wyatt-Luck, and Diaz Martinez.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contest, Hayesville brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand Blue Ridge Early College a 5-0 shutout on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Hayesville's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Hayesville picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-8-1. As for Highlands, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Highlands took their win against Hayesville when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
