Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the Grant Generals. That's two games in a row now that the Quakers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Grant, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Ida B. Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Guardians will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Grant, they will face off against Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
