Football Recap: Uxbridge Spartans vs. Oxford Pirates
Uxbridge won the last time they faced Oxford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans claimed a resounding 48-14 win over the Pirates. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Pirates are ranked 188th).

Uxbridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camden Lachapelle out in front who rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Lachapelle's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 15th straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Sweeney, who picked up 133 receiving yards and three TDs.
