Basketball Recap: Crossland Gets the Win

Crossland's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Potomac Wolverines. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 68-27 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Crossland back to even at 6-6. As for Potomac, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Crossland will challenge Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Douglass' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Potomac, they will square off against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Potomac surely won't give up without a fight.
