Softball Recap: Brackett Comes Up Short

Brackett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sabinal Yellowjackets, falling 17-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Brackett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sabinal, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brackett will square off against La Pryor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. La Pryor will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Brackett surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sabinal, they will head out to challenge Knippa at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Knippa has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.08 runs per game on average), something Sabinal will no doubt try to take advantage of.
