Basketball Recap: Fall River Takes a Loss

Fall River lost to Markesan back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 52-49.

Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Markesan, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coming up, Fall River will challenge Almond-Bancroft at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Markesan, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Country Classical Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
