Softball Game Preview: Lakeland Dreadnaughts vs. Ridge Community Bolts

The Lakeland Dreadnaughts will face off against the Ridge Community Bolts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lakeland's offense. They lost 10-0 to Lake Gibson on Thursday. The Dreadnaughts haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Ridge Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against Haines City, falling 20-0.

Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Lakeland's way against Ridge Community in their previous meeting back in March, as Lakeland made off with a 21-0 victory. Will the Dreadnaughts repeat their success, or do the Bolts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
