Hopewell kept a clean sheet against West Charlotte on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Lions. Considering Hopewell have won four games by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting West Charlotte from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Riley Malcolm led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win (which was Hopewell's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three matchups. As for West Charlotte, they dropped their record down to 1-8-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hopewell wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mountain Island Charter on the 21st. As for West Charlotte, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Berry on the 24th.
